Our History

City Bike Park is in Richmond, Indiana’s Freeman Park, a property owned and operated by Richmond Parks & Recreation. Formerly known as Rose City BMX Track, the park opened in 1979. For details go to Our Story.

Our Volunteers

The property, the City Bike Park social media pages, and this website are maintained by a small but dedicated group of volunteers. Our Purpose – Enjoy the Outdoors!

City Bike Park provides families and biking enthusiasts access to a fun, yet challenging bike park. Multiple features accommodate all skill levels, and there are areas developed to offer training and practice opportunities.

The BMX Track

  • Roughly 1,180′ in length
  • The starting pad is 25′ x 100′ and made of tarmac and concrete
  • 16 dirt features
  • 3 large berms: 4′ – 5′ in height and 40′ – 50′ in diameter
